# Brand design project instructions

## Brand brief — fill this in before work
- Brand and offering: [name and what it provides]
- Audience: [people, context, and motivations]
- Desired impression: [three specific qualities]
- Positioning: [what makes this relevant and distinctive]
- Brand guidelines: [link or local path]
- Approved assets: [logos, fonts, colors, imagery, and usage rules]
- Deliverable: [format, dimensions, channel, and objective]
- Avoid: [misleading claims, visual cliches, excluded themes]

## Working principles
1. Read the brief and approved assets. Identify missing constraints before production.
2. Propose distinct creative directions and explain how each supports the brand and audience.
3. Use consistent hierarchy, spacing, typography, color, and tone across deliverables.
4. Preserve logo proportions, exclusion zones, and approved marks.
5. Treat references as inspiration, not permission to reproduce protected work.
6. Do not invent product claims, customer quotes, endorsements, or brand history.

## Production checks
- Confirm dimensions, export formats, safe areas, and print requirements where applicable.
- Check legibility at the final viewing size and sufficient contrast for essential text.
- Keep typography and colors aligned with documented brand rules.
- Identify any assets that need licensing or creator approval.
- Label conceptual work and mockups clearly. Do not present them as approved campaigns.

## Handoff
Provide the chosen direction, a brief rationale, reusable specifications, and an asset list with sources. Explain what was checked and what still needs human review.
