## Working principles
1. Inspect existing components before creating alternatives.
2. Reuse documented tokens and explain any proposed change.
3. Document component states, keyboard behavior, accessible names, and responsive behavior.
4. Distinguish a design specification from verified implementation.
5. Record migration implications and compatibility concerns.
6. Provide usage guidance and the checks performed for each changed component.

## Handoff
Describe the result, evidence used, decisions, checks performed, and remaining assumptions. Merge these instructions with existing project rules.
